Magnesium Mural, LBJ Library

This 50 foot long photoengraved mural by Naomi Savage can be found on the north wall of the LBJ Library and depicts Lyndon Baines Johnson, the various positions he held in government and the presidents he worked under. It’s photoengraved and, up close, looks as if it was created using a welder’s torch since the whole thing appears to be created from a halftone dot pattern.
