Today is a big day for Drew, our family angler. After pulling in a 20 pound Ono (known as a Wahoo in parts non-Hawaiian) during an earlier snorkel trip where the crew left a few lines running behind the boat, Drew was desperate to go out on a real fishing trip so we’re all signed up for a 4 hour deep sea fishing expedition today. He’s hoping to catch a 1000 pound Blue Marlin but I would settle for some Mahi Mahi for dinner.
This shot was taken down in Lahaina harbour yesterday and shows a couple of the reels on a sport fishing charter we saw down there.
