Grace Cathedral & St. Francis

Now that I have a bit more time on my hands, I’m using it to catch up on a 6 month editing backlog. This was one of the images that I shot in Grace Cathedral, San Francisco back in April. It shows the statue of St Francis that greets visitors as they enter through the main doors at the end of the nave.

Great perspective Dave – really gives a feel of place, more than just the statue by itself!

Thanks, Jim. I agree though I also like this detail image taken at the same time.

This is great, Dave, as usual! Tell me you used a fisheye for this and did not do a vertorama. I’m loving the fisheye and If I can get stuff like this, I will be a happy man! Good work!

Yes, this was shot with the Sigma 15mm f/2.8 fisheye. It’s a wonderful lens for the money.
