Notice: Keep Clean the Hydrant




Great minds apparently think alike*. Bob Lussier, my guide and shooting partner during this epic day of discovering and photographing the mills of Lawrence, Massachusetts, also shot this scene and posted it several weeks ago. You can find his interpretation here. I’m finally getting a chance to process some more of the images from that day and this one popped out partly because I remembered Bob’s shot but also because I loved the harsh side lighting and the texture it generated on the scene.

* Let’s quietly forget the part about fools seldom differing, though.

Yeah, that side lighting is pretty awesome and the textures it brings to light are sweet! Cool find!
