Christmas at Caswell House

An now for something completely different…

A month or so ago, I spent an evening photographing inside Austin’s historical Caswell House at the invitation of Austin Junior Forum. The organisation transforms the house into a Christmas wonderland each November for a fundraiser that has become one of Austin’s favourite holiday traditions. The whole ground floor is festooned with decorations, all of which are on sale, and, if you visit at the beginning of the event, you won’t believe your eyes!

I was lucky enough to visit on the day before opening and I’ll be running photos from the house for the next few days. All of these are HDR images and my processing is rather less subtle than normal since I rather like the way this makes all the decorations look.
