Alex Suarez

Last Monday evening saw a gathering of somewhere between 200 and 250 photographers in downtown Austin for one of the largest photowalks ever. It was organised by ex-Austinite Trey Ratcliff and sponsored by Google+. We wandered through downtown for 3 hours or so taking pictures of the South By Southwest crowds and other photographers in the group. I’ll be running various pictures from the event over the coming week.

Alongside the event was a competition for the best photograph of another photowalker. While I’m ineligible for the competition (having been one of the photowalk coaches), I though it would be fun to take people pictures so here’s the first. This is buddy Alex Suarez during a lull in the walk somewhere on 4th Street.
