Five Past Five in GCT




On trips to New York, I always gravitate towards Grand Central Terminal. The cavernous interior is amazing and definitely speaks to me about bygone opulence and a type of architecture you seldom, if ever, see these days.

One of my favourite features of the main concourse is this large, brass clock which sits above the information office in the centre of the space.

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the terminal and the clock features prominently in the logo used to publicise the centenary.
