I took this shot from the roof of the hotel on my first morning in Taipei. Jet lag meant I was up and ready to go at about 5am so killing time taking pictures seemed a reasonable thing to do.
From this vantage point, I was shooting into the sun to get the downtown view but this helped bring out the layers of hills in the background and it definitely gives a very different feel to the picture compared to the other evening shots I’ve already posted.
This is terrific. Taipei is quite a photogenic town. Well done.
