Taipei 101 in Blue

We’re back to Taiwan today and another shot of Taipei 101, this time from directly underneath. I ran out of time to do all the things I had hoped to do during my trip there and one of the victims was a trip to the top of this building. I hear it’s fascinating because, as well as the view, you get to see an enormous steel sphere that is suspended up there to act as a vibration damper in typhoons and earthquakes. My inner geek was quite excited about that but it will just have to wait until the next time I’m lucky enough to get to visit Taipei.
