Ready To Ride




Back to Dripping Springs rodeo this week. After running the series of portraits last week, I’ve edited down my favourite action or environmental shots to show this week.

As I mentioned earlier, I spent a lot of time behind the scenes and had no problem going pretty much anywhere I wanted, including the platform right behind the chutes that the bull and bronco riders depart from. Shooting this kind of picture with a super-wide lens was quite an experience and definitely very different from my usual telephoto rodeo setup.
