Some people in the band are happy to pose when I’m wandering around with the camera, others tend to look away. I think I would likely be in the latter category but that’s probably one of the main reasons I took up photography in the first place – it keeps me on the other side of the camera for the mostpart.
These two young ladies, from the piccolo section as far as I can remember, fell into the former category.
I love the patterns in this composition. The hats drifting into a blurry distance and the crisp colouring of the uniforms. Great image!
