Today is the start of Formula 1 weekend in Austin for me with the Pit Lane Walk at 3pm this afternoon followed by a frantic trip through traffic to get to Precision Camera to pick up a nice, long rental lens before the store closes.
In honour of another race weekend, here’s a winner from the last Circuit of the Americas event I attended. Car number 6 from Muscle Milk Pickett Racing won the ALMS race there back in late September. The car was being driven by the team of Klaus Graf and Lucas Luhr, both from Germany.
Maybe I will see you on Sunday – hah – among 100,000 fans. Only going on final day this year.
