One of the F1 stars was absent from last weekend’s racing. Kimi Raikonnen of Lotus had to miss the US Grand Prix due to back surgery but fellow Finn, Heikki Kovalainen stepped in to drive his car (much to the chagrin of Lotus’ reserve driver who would, under normal circumstances, expect to get the seat).
