Gulf Sunset

We spent a lovely Thanksgiving weekend down on the Gulf Coast just north of Corpus Christi near Fulton. While this wasn’t a photography trip, I did, of course, take some pictures including quite a few around Fulton harbour and fishing pier.

This shot was taken just south of Fulton at sunset looking toward the Gulf of Mexico with the sun behind me. I love the subtlety of the colour and the two very distinct gradients in the sea and sky. This is very close to the picture that came out of the camera with only minor exposure and contrast tweaks applied.
