Cowboy Boots at the Wild West Store

I’ve not posted a cowboy boot picture for ages but was reminded of these pictures yesterday when I noticed that one of the winning photography entries at Hays County Show was a boot shot taken in Allen’s Boots in Austin.

Although I’ve shot in Allen’s too, this picture was taken in the Wild West Store in Wimberley, Texas. They specialise in vintage boots and have about 500 pairs in stock. If you’re touring the hill country, make sure you drop in. The owner is known as “The Boot Whisperer” and is famed for her ability to find you the right boot merely by looking at your feet.
