A misty morning shot taken from the roof of my hotel in Taipei during last summer’s trip to Taiwan. Construction was booming in the area and cranes seemed to be everywhere. While this area is reasonably flat, the city of Taipei is ringed by mountains and it was very odd (and spectacular) to see high-rise buildings being constructed in those mountains too. I guess flat land is at a premium!
