Colorado National Monument

It feels as if it’s been ages since I last posted a landscape so here’s one to break the drought. I shot this in late afternoon at Colorado National Monument near Grand Junction, Colorado, during last year’s NXNW photoblogger get-together. Mike Criswell and Bob Lussier were somewhere close by (no doubt standing still and studiously taking pictures) and Justin Balog was bouncing around like a mountain goat just over the crest here. This fine group of people will be gathering in Maine later this year for another attempt to see just how much Folgers it takes to wake up at 4am.
