Lighthouse on Eilean Musdile, Scotland

As you exit Oban harbour on the way to Scotland’s Western Isles, you will pass Lismore Lighthouse which sits at the southern tip of Eilean Musdile. In our case, we were heading out to Craignure on Mull, a mere 45 minute crossing, but journeys starting at Oban can last up to 5 hours and take you all the way to South Uist and Barra in the Outer Hebrides.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/5.6
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 300mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/1500s
