Jordan Pond and the Bubbles, Acadia National Park

“The Bubbles” are the two rounded hills visible on the opposite shore of Jordan Pond, one of the many bodies of water inside Acadia National Park in Maine. This was the first location we visited inside the park on our 2014 NxNW photoblogger gathering there. The sky was grey and uninteresting when we arrived but broke up slowly during the time we were there and ended up rather more interesting.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/16
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 40mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 20s
