Textures at the Feed Mill

I was looking through some old shots of the feed mill in Johnson City, Texas to find a few to submit for an exhibition that will be hanging there next month and came across this unprocessed shot that I rather liked. The old feed mill, long a favourite urbex location thanks to its rusting painted silos and strange but fascinating derelict cabins, is about to reopen having been repurposed as the Hill Country Science Mill. I’m looking forward to seeing how the place looks next time I visit.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/10
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 200mm
  • ISO: 800
  • Shutter speed: 1/640s
