Abandoned Cabin and Sofa

From the “department of incongruity”, here’s a shot taken in Johnson City a few years back. Until recently, there were a bunch of derelict cabins next to the disused feed mill there and, on the grass outside those cabins, a large, red sofa. All of this has gone now and the area has been tidied up in preparation for the opening of the new Hill Country Science Mill in the main building but I was looking through some of my old shots of the area and rather liked this one.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/14
  • Camera: NIKON D700
  • Focal length: 15mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/13s
