WE35: A Walk Around Dripping Springs #2

My walk around the town ended at the historic Pound House, the preserved home of one of Dripping Springs’ original inhabitants. The small park there features a smithy and there are metalworkers there every weekend to give demonstrations. Last Saturday, and most weekends, Jim Ferrell was in charge of blacksmithing and kindly let me take this portrait of him.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/4
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 35mm
  • ISO: 800
  • Shutter speed: 1/90s
