Whitman County Growers

The colours of the Palouse are fantastic but, in this case, I decided that this image merited a monochrome treatment. It’s all about those rolling hills and the curves produced by the light from the setting sun wrapping over them. This was taken, as you can probably guess, from the top of Steptoe Butte.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/9.5
  • Camera: CORPORATION
  • Focal length: 600mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/350s
