Back to the Palouse today with this image of a section of barn roof. We spent a fascinating hour or so photographing in and around this fantastic round barn near St. John, Washington. Justin, who is very good at such things, made friends with the owner, Dale, who very kindly gave us the run of the barn. As far as I can remember, it had been designed and built by his grandfather. After falling into disrepair, he and various friends have been restoring it over the last 20 years or so. He said he already had lots of photos of the building so we all chipped in some money to boost the restoration fund.
