A macro shot of the wing of an Owl Butterfly seen at the Cockerell Butterfly Center at the Houston Museum of Natural Science. This was taken with my trusty insect gear – the 70-300mm lens with 56mm of extension tubes for close focus and Nikon R1C1 macro flash to provide the light.
