Portland’s “Tree of Life”

I’m still delving through collections of unprocessed images from past trips. Today’s photo was taken during our very first NxNW get-together in 2012 in Portland, Oregon. This is the famous “tree of life” in Portland’s outstanding Japanese Garden.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/9.5
  • Focal length: 15mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/45s

Wonderful take on this iconic tree! I have a photographic bucket list and this tree is on it.

Don, make sure you take some knee pads and a very short tripod. The tree is deceptively tiny!
