Texas Book Festival at the Paramount Theatre

The Texas Book Festival is in full swing right now with the whole area around the State Capitol closed to traffic and filled with tents offering the latest literature from all the major and many minor publishers and booksellers. The festival this year hosts somewhere over 200 authors talking about their latest publications. Yesterday, I attended several great talks, two by excellent photographers (Laura Wilson and Eli Reed). The day ended with a session in the Paramount Theatre where Owen Egerton moderated a lively discussion with Amelia Gray and Daniel Handler (otherwise known to young readers as Lemony Snicket) about their latest works.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/4.8
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 14mm
  • ISO: 2200
  • Shutter speed: 1/180s
