Release the Tigers!

Friday saw the last game of the 2015 football (and band marching) season. As one of the photographers for the Dripping Springs High School band, I’ve taken thousands of exposures at Tiger Stadium over the last three years but this week, I’ll be concentrating on on this last game against the Leander Lions.

Most of the time, obviously, I’m taking pictures of the kids in the band but, before the game and during quite times for the musicians, I’ll point a lens towards the field. This shot shows the tiger football team as they make their entrance onto the field. I would give you the name of this player but the team roster lists 4 different guys who wear shirt number three and I’m not sure which one this is – sorry!

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/16
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 170mm
  • ISO: 800
  • Shutter speed: 1/10s
