I was going to continue my series of images from last week’s football game but, in view of the terrible news from Paris last night, I think this image would be a lot more appropriate. This was taken in Notre Dame cathedral during a lovely trip my wife and I made to the city back in the spring of 2014. Paris is undoubtedly my favourite city and it pains me to think of the horrors unleashed there by a bunch of evil thugs twisting the teachings of their religion to justify violence and brutality against the innocent.
