As I’ve been doing for the last few years, I’ve just posted my “Best of 2015” gallery containing my favourite shots from the last 12 months. I narrowed the list down to 12 but this was tricky given that my initial scan through my catalog yielded about 30 candidates.
2015 was a pretty great year photographically with lots of motorsport opportunities via my volunteering at Circuit of the Americas, plenty of rodeo shoots at Dripping Springs Ranch Park, a fabulous annual photoblogger trip to the Palouse region of Washington State, lots of frames shot of the high school band in my position as “official historian,” and two family trips, one to the Pacific Northwest and Vancouver Island and a second to Cozumel in Mexico.
During 2015, I added 13,816 of my own images to my Lightroom catalog which now contains just over 117,000 pictures (of which about 4500 were taken by other people).

An excellent collection of images this year, and I am so glad that we were able to shoot together again, it was a blast.
Thanks, Scott! I’m looking forward to next June’s trip and shooting together again.
