Capitol Door Knob

Just about everything inside the Texas State Capitol has a star or the word “Texas” in it somewhere. Here’s one of the door knobs in the Senate Chamber, for example.

For the technically inclined...

  • Exposure bias: -1.5EV

I find this image fascinating, not because it is a very pleasing image, it is, but it makes me wonder if all state capitol buildings have something similar, which is specific to the state?

As part of the #WE35 project last year I did the 36 exposure expedition around our capitol grounds here in Olympia, WA and one of my images is of a door knob in the capitol building.

Yours is a star, ours is a bust of George Washington. 🙂
