Texas State Capitol

I shot this picture of the Texas State capitol in downtown Austin several years ago now but I don’t think I’ve posted the monochrome version so here it is. This was taken from the north side of the building, a view you don’t often see due to the fact that you are normally looking straight into the sun from here. Getting there early in the morning, however, solves that problem.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/10
  • Camera: NIKON D70
  • Focal length: 10mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/15s
