As you may be able to tell from several of my recent posts, I spent about a third of the race hanging out just past the apex of turn 6 where the light angle was good and I could get super-close to the action. Although I was shooting with the 150-600mm lens, most of the time, I was near the short end of the zoom range catching riders from about 20 feet away as the rocketed by at 150mph or thereabouts.
