8 Seconds Can Last Forever

The 8 seconds that have to pass before a competition bull ride qualifies to receive a score doesn’t sounds like a very long time. To a cowboy on the back of an angry, 1600 pound bull, however, I have a feeling that it probably lasts rather longer than it does for us spectators.

You can find more images from the Bailey Kay Hutson Bull Riding event at Dripping Springs Ranch Park here.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 95mm
  • ISO: 6400
  • Shutter speed: 1/750s
