White Sands Textures V

Another surreal view from White Sands National Monument in New Mexico. Even if you have not yet visited the park, you’ve likely seen it in films and TV since it appears to be a very popular location. The National Parks Service, for example, estimates that 90% of US car makes and models have been photographed in the park. Film credits include “Transformers”, “Tank Girl”, “The Man Who Fell To Earth” and “King Solomon’s Mines.”

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/11
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 300mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1/180s
