Mr. Ferrari

In just over a week, the (now rather quieter than expected) Formula 1 engines will be revving up again out at Circuit of the Americas and the world’s racing afficionados will once again descend upon Austin for the 2016 United States Grand Prix. My fingers are all crossed for good weather after last year’s torrential downpour! Here’s a shot from the 2013 Grand Prix weekend. This gentleman appears to have made quite a name for himself by wearing detailed Ferrari sculptures on his head. I’ve seen him in the TV coverage for at least one other race this season so I expect he’ll be back at CoTA next weekend with a shiny, new red hat.

For the technically inclined...
