I get to have some serious photography fun this afternoon when I stand in as official photographer for the UT Longhorn Band. Thanks to clashing commitments, it’s been 3 years since I last shot at Texas Memorial Stadium so I’m very much looking forward to another opportunity to temporarily take over from Jerry Hayes (who is marching with the alumni band this evening) and take pictures of the musicians who will be performing during this game. Here’s a picture taken during the half time show at the last Alumni Band Day I shot back in 2013. When both bands are on the field, there are around 1000 marchers. Couple this with a crowd of 100,000 fans cheering them on and you have quite an experience!
