End of the Tiger Band Marching Season

Friday evening marked the final home game for Dripping Springs High School and, with it, the end of the 2016 marching season for the Tiger Band. As you may know, I’ve been taking pictures for the band for the last three years and it’s always amazing fun. I relive my band life vicariously through these kids and must admit that I feel rather jealous of the experiences and musical opportunities they all have playing in one of the best marching bands in central Texas. If you want to see other pictures taken during the year (or previous years), you can find them all on the band’s SmugMug account. Not all of these images are mine – I have a team of volunteer photographers who cover events for the band.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/4
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 70mm
  • ISO: 1600
  • Shutter speed: 1/250s
