Opening Lap, USGP 2016

Things get pretty tight on the opening lap of a Formula 1 Grand Prix as 22 cars vie for position on a track which is only 20 to 30 feet wide. Lewis Hamilton took the lead from pole during this year’s United States Grand Prix and held it to the end to win his fourth Grand Prix in Austin.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/11
  • Camera: NIKON D500
  • Exposure bias: +4/6EV
  • Focal length: 370mm
  • ISO: 400
  • Shutter speed: 1/1500s
