After a few weeks of pictures from Fiji, it’s time to get back closer to home. I’m taking part in a really fun project this weekend. ATX Squared has been organised by the folks in the Austin Photo Night group (a bunch of really amazing photojournalists and a collection of groupies like me) and aims to document a section of east Austin over the MLK weekend. I’m not able to get into town this weekend so I’m one of a few people documenting the areas we live in instead. I’ll be running pictures from this project all week.
My first interviewees this morning were Bill and Laurel. Bill is a musician with a great collection of guitars including this metal instrument built some time in the 1920s.
For the technically inclined...
Interesting project Dave, this looks like a great old instrument, have fun
