The famous Elizabeth Tower at London’s Palace of Westminster, home to the UK government. This well-known landmark was previously known merely as the “Clock Tower” before being renamed in honour of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee but, to most people, the name “Big Ben” immediately comes to mind when they see it. “Big Ben” is, however, the name of the large bell housed inside the tower.
