Austin Skyline in the “Grey Hour”

The weather on Friday evening conspired against us as we shot the Austin skyline from Auditorium Shores. An unbroken sheet of cloud turned our “blue hour” into a rather uninteresting “grey hour” instead but the lights on the buildings and reflections on Lady Bird Lake helped make this picture worth posting regardless of the sky colour.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 31mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 8s
