Superdome

I grabbed this shot of the Superdome in New Orleans as we drove past on one of those hop-on-hop-off tour buses. It’s hard to reconcile the gleaming, downtown building of today with the terrible images I remember following Hurricane Katrina back in 2005.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/5
  • Camera: X20
  • Focal length: 26.6mm
  • ISO: 100
  • Shutter speed: 1/1250s

Nice!, I actually drove my rental car up to the second level of the Dome when I was down there with the Red Cross, I actually have some pics of the inside as well, just walked right on in. Although it was weeks after it happened it was still a mess.
