A Chute-ful of Cowboys

Before rodeo events at Dripping Springs Ranch Park, the cowboys normally gather in the exit chute then parade into the ring. The press box sits right above the gathering place so, by hanging out the window, I can get some interesting overhead shots like this one. This was taken during the Bailey-Kay Hutson Bull Riding Competition last Saturday (May 13th).

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/2.8
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 55mm
  • ISO: 1600
  • Shutter speed: 1/350s
