Grand Tetons and Hedricks Pond

Hedricks Pond Overlook provides a spectacular view of the Grand Teton range in Wyoming although finding that viewpoint is somewhat tricky, involving a couple of unmarked dirt roads and some walking. I posted a monochrome version of this shot shortly after our trip last summer but the view is good enough to merit posting the colour version too.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/16
  • Camera: NIKON D810
  • Focal length: 112mm
  • ISO: 200
  • Shutter speed: 1/250s
