Ready For Winter

Preserved fruits and vegetables seen at the Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm at Lyndon Baines Johnson State Park and Historic Site near Johnson City, Texas. The docents run the farm as it would have operated in the early 1900s, growing and preserving vegetables and raising animals. There’s always something interesting to see when you visit and the staff are always delighted to provide information on early 20th century farming techniques and lifestyle.
