It was a particularly hot afternoon last Saturday at Dripping Springs Ranch Park so taking part in the Ranch Rodeo competition can’t have been a whole lot of fun. Here’s one of the winning cowboys seen just before the award presentation. Ranch Rodeo is a competition between teams from local ranches who compete in challenges drawn from actual ranching activities – loading steers into a trailer, cutting particular animals from a herd, selecting an animal for branding.
