Tiger Band Advances to State

Indulge me, if you will, as I brag about my kids and their school band. Last night, Dripping Springs won the UIL Area D Marching Contest at Gupton Stadium in Cedar Park and now advance to the State Marching Competition in the Alamodome on November 8th. Their show gained a score of 6 comprised of the adding rankings from 5 judges scoring marching and musical performance – in other words, 4 of the 5 judges ranked them as top band and one ranked them second out of a total of 33 bands competing at this level.

Go Tiger Band!
