Marc Marquez at CoTA

MotoGP rides back into town in a couple of months and my Facebook feed is saturated with opportunities for me to buy tickets. Regardless of whether or not I’m working trackside this year, this is one event I don’t plan to miss. If you are a racing enthusiast within easy reach of Austin, you should treat yourself to a ticket and watch the spectacular way these guys handle their machines around Circuit of the Americas.

Here’s a shot from the 2016 race showing winner Marc Marquez of Repsol Honda at turn 7 getting perilously close to using the titanium pads embedded in his suit elbows.

For the technically inclined...

  • Aperture: ƒ/8
  • Camera: NIKON D810

Great shot

I know Marc Marquez’s cousin. I’ll let him know about this blog.

Cheers Nathan…
