Lewis Hamilton, 2017 USGP

Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes AMG Petronas on his way to victory in the Formula 1 United States Grand Prix at Circuit of the Americas, Austin on October 22nd, 2017.

I processed this shot differently from my other F1 images and love the grungy feel of the result. Fellow NxNW traveller and Skylum guru Jim Nix visited the Photographers of Dripping Springs last night to demonstrate Luminar 2018 and inspired me to open the new version of app and do some playing. I’ll have to get into the habit of using it more often because it’s so easy to use and contains some fantastically powerful filters. If you want to give it a try, there’s a free trial download and, if you decide to spend the $69 to buy it, use discount code “DAVEWILSON” for an additional $10 off.
